Goheadhunt Pty Ltd and its related companies (“we”, “our” or “us”) is an Australian technology company. Goheadhunt is a web platform that act as a digital recruitment service application operating in Australia. We are committed to ensuring that we when collect and use information about visitors and users of our website and portals, we do so in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1. Collection of Personal Data
GoHeadhunt may collect information about you such as your name, contact details, skills, qualifications, accreditations and your employment history. We may also collect other types of your personal information such as your referees, their contact details and references provided. Where practical, the purpose for which we collect personal information and the consequences of not providing it will be made clear at the time of collection.
When you join our web platform, we may collect information you gave us when:
(a) registering to create a job hunt profile with Goheadhunt, you may need to provide (without limitation) personal, and other information about your education, employment history and accreditations. Your application will constitute your express consent to our use of this information to access your application and to allow us to carry out any verification checking and other related activities as may be required of us under applicable law as an employer.
Goheadhunt may also collect information from public record and third parties
(b) Attending the virtual interview, we record your answers which you may (without limitations) provide information including opinions about an identified individual/organisation, or an individual/organisation who is reasonably identifiable: whether the information or opinion is true or not. Attending the interview will constitute your express consent to our use of this information to access your interview and to allow us to carry out any verification checking and other related activities as may be required of us under applicable law as an employer.
(c) contact us to report a problem with our websites or make any enquiry or query or comment;
2. Use and Disclosure of Personal Data
(a) to provide our services to you;
(b) to maintain our business relationship, where you are a user of our website, a client or candidate;
(d) to match your coded details with employers search results, and show your profile and interview to potential employer as per your specified visibility limitations you provide.
(e) to answer your inquiry;
(f) to direct-market products and services, advise you of news and industry updates, events, promotions and competitions, reports and other information. Where we do so, you will be able to unsubscribe from such communications;
(g) to trusted third parties where we have retained them to provide services that you have requested, and who also provide services to us, such as professional advisers, IT consultants, developers and designers. These third parties must comply with similar undertakings of privacy and confidentiality as Goheadhunt;
(h) we may also release personal information to regulatory or law enforcement authorities, if they require us to do so; and
(i) we may also seek your consent to collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information for any other purpose not listed above.
3. Sensitive Information
Sensitive information is a special category of personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). It is the information or an opinion about you, including racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious beliefs or affiliations, philosophical beliefs, membership of a professional or trade association, membership of a trade union, sexual orientation or practices, criminal records and health information. Goheadhunt will provide the purpose for the collection and only be disclosed with your consent.
4. Privacy on Our Websites
(a) Creating a profile on Goheadhunt and publishing it live
(b) Attending the virtual Interview and recording a video of your responses.
As part of your profile on Goheadhunt you attend a virtual interview directly related to the job roles you wish to be considered for. This interview gets recorded and placed on your profile. After finishing the interview you get three options. (i) submit the interview as it is for quality check and verification. (ii) request to repeat up to two questions. (iii) conditional request to repeat the whole interview which is manually verified. Your recorded interview will contain information about your past and current work and study as well as opinions and ideas about individuals and organisations. We only use this interview on your profile which is only accessible on our platform to registered employers and as per your visibility preference.
(c) Identity Verification
We ask all candidates to verify their identity to ensure all our accounts are genuine people who are who they say they are. We ask you to submit your LinkedIn profile along with uploading an ID document that clearly shows your picture and current address. Your ID documents are stored on an encrypted database and not accessible to employers or website users.
5. Access to Personal Information
You are able to view and update any information by logging into your account.
You may also request that Goheadhunt un-publish your profile or stops using your information and contacting you and we will comply with your request
At Goheadhunt we aim to acknowledge receipt as soon as possible and commit to resolve all complaints no later than 30 days. However, there may be instances where this is not possible due to the contents of the complaint. In such circumstances, we will respond to your complaint in a reasonable and practical time. You may wish to contact the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you are not satisfied with our response to your complaint.
